We are pleased to represent Paul Gallo at Brath and Hughes

Paul Gallo



Paul Gallo grew up in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, a small coal-mining town near State College, Pennsylvania. Paul’s education is varied and includes studying at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, an AA from Harrisburg Area Community College and MFA from Syracuse University.

Working as an art director and creative director for several advertising agencies, Paul has won numerous awards for his illustration and graphic design. He now owns his own freelance illustration and graphic design business.   


The Artist is a member of the "by invitation only" Seven Lively Artists - a group of men that have been painting and exhibiting for over 50 years in the Central Pa region.  He is also a member of the Susquehanna Valley Plein Air Painters (SVPAP) which is a group of men and women that paint outside (en plein air) and exhibit regularly.

 Plein air oil painting is his primary area of interest. Painting in a representational manner he enjoys utilizing the tactical quality of oil paints. He also teaches illustration and design at the college level and currently teaches at Art Institute of York, HACC and Penn State York.
